MTU Letters and Sounds: Part 1

Letters and Sounds: Part One is designed for beginning readers. Letter sound and letter recognition are taught for fifteen letters: AEIOU BDPTY CKFGH. Sliding sounds for the letter Bb are taught. Sliding sound instruction is the foundation for teaching word attack skills. Twenty sight words are mastered. Parts Two and Three continue instruction.
Each lesson is a musical presentation and a student game. The game allows the student to practice new skills and receive learning reinforcement. The app is a source of entertainment, learning, and fun.
